Our comprehensive test preparation programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to excel on exams such as the SAT, ACT, ISEE, GRE, GED, SSAT, AP Exams, STAAR, and more.
This streamlined process will allow us to easily pair your student with an A-HTS® Test Preparation specialist in as little as 24 to 48 hours.
You will begin with a 15-minute phone consultation with a member of the A-HTS® Test Preparation team. Our goal is to obtain as much background information on your student as possible. This will include reviewing past test scores, discussing your student's strengths and weaknesses, goal schools, learning differences or accommodations, and desired Test Preparation schedule.
If there are no recent test scores, we ask your student to complete baseline testing. All materials are provided by A-HTS®.
The AHTS® team reviews your student's baseline practice test results to create an individualized plan, which encompasses reviewing recent scores, setting goals, and outlining a timeline for future exams and practice tests.
The A-HTS® team matches your student with a Test Preparation tutor considering factors such as tutor credentials, pricing preferences, personality style, and schedule compatibility.
Students engage with the Test Preparation tutor weekly or biweekly. Independent practice is assigned between sessions. While the tutor begins with a set prep plan, adjustments might be made based on the student's progress and insights from practice tests.
After receiving formal test scores, a consultation with the director is scheduled to discuss results and next steps, whether that's submitting scores, updating the test prep plan, registering for another test, or exploring superscoring options.
