From Miami and Orlando to Tampa, Jacksonville, and the Gulf Coast, Florida families have more control over their education dollars than almost anywhere in the country. At-Home Tutoring Services® helps them put that control to work with expert, one-on-one online tutoring available to students across the state.
All four service lines are available statewide. Subject Tutoring supports reading and math fundamentals through advanced high school and college coursework. Test Preparation builds SAT, ACT, and AP plans. Academic Coaching develops organization and study systems, and College Admissions guidance helps Florida students apply with confidence. Live online sessions mean a student in a rural county has the same access to an expert tutor as one in a major metro.
Step Up For Students
Florida funds education through Step Up For Students and other scholarship organizations, and tutoring is an eligible expense across the Education Savings Account programs. Several pathways may apply to your family:
- Personalized Education Program (PEP): about $8,000 per student for families not enrolled full-time in public or private school. Note that PEP reached capacity for new students for 2026-27, so renewing families should confirm status.
- Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA): for students ages 3 to 22 with qualifying diagnoses, averaging around $10,000 and more for higher needs, with tutoring and therapies eligible.
- New Worlds Reading Scholarship: for K-5 public school students who need extra reading or math support, with funds usable for tutoring.
- FES-EO and Florida Tax Credit scholarships, which primarily fund tuition, may leave remaining funds usable for tutoring and materials.
Approved payments run through the Step Up platforms such as the EMA portal and MyScholarShop. We help families understand which program fits and how to direct funds toward our tutoring.
